Imphal ∙ In the first match of the tri-national football in Manipur, India won by color. India defeated Myanmar 1-0 in the match played at the Khuman Lampak Stadium in Imphal yesterday. Anirudh Thapa scored the goal for India in the 45th minute.
Despite having many opportunities against Myanmar, which is ranked 150th, 53 places behind India in the FIFA rankings, the Indian forward line was able to cross the goal line only once.
