Child Rights: Cabinet approves draft law

Doha: The cabinet approved the draft of the Child Rights Act. Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani chaired the cabinet meeting held at Amiri Diwan yesterday to approve the draft law.

The Cabinet also approved a draft law to amend certain provisions of Law No. 12 of 2008 on contributions by companies supporting the promotion of sporting, cultural, social and charitable activities.

The Cabinet also considered the report on the activities of the Grievance Committee of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority. The Cabinet also considered the annual reports on the functioning of the Standing Committee for Monitoring the Fuel Filling Station and Storage Station.
