“I know that the light of peace comes from a country where there is no peace this year,” says Sarah Perner (15) from Oberwang. “But it is beautiful when distributing the light of peace helps ensure that there is peace in our hearts.” The Bad Ischl Youth Red Cross group set off from the Gmunden district.
The Red Cross Children will now distribute the Peace Light from Bethlehem to all local locations in the Salzkammergut. The light will then be available for all households to pick up on December 24th.
