China launches series of global consumer events in high-caliber exhibition

Today, Saturday, April 13, 2024, China launched a series of global consumer events at the Fourth China International Consumer Products Expo, which opened on the same day in Haikou, capital of southern Hainan province.

The eventwhich runs until April 18, welcomes more than 4,000 brands from 71 countries and regionswhich showcase their newest and high-end products for global consumers, according to the organizer.

Ireland is the guest country of honor in this year’s edition, with a space dedicated to showcasing scientific and technological innovation, education, investment, tourism and culture of that European nation.

In addition to the main venue, three sub-venues dedicated to sailboats and yachts, duty-free shopping and international health have been established in Haikou and Boao Town at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center.

There will also be just over 300 thematic activities and featured activities, including new product launches.
