[신화망 베이징 7월3일]From January to May this year, both sales and profits of China’s automobile manufacturing industry showed an upward trend.
According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), the sales of Chinese automakers in the January-May period exceeded 3.63 trillion yuan (approximately 658.7361 trillion won), up 14.3 percent from the same period last year.
This accounts for 7.1% of the total sales of major industrial enterprises.
During the first five months of this year, Chinese automakers’ profits reached 174.62 billion yuan (31.6882 trillion won), up 24.3% from the same period last year.
