China’s Satellite Launch Triggers Airspace Warning in Taiwan: Stay Informed

Beijing: After China launched a satellite, Taiwan issued a warning to the people. The warning came following China’s satellite passed through Taiwan’s airspace. After the Chinese state media confirmed the news regarding the satellite launch, people received a warning message on their mobile phones.

The warning message in Chinese says that China has launched a satellite and it has passed through southern airspace. However, the one in English is an air raid warning. After the warning, the Ministry of Defense came out with an apology. The Ministry of Defense stated that the warning in English was not updated and it was a message sent by mistake.

Foreign Minister Joseph Wu clarified that the current warning is related to the launch of the satellite. If the rocket flies over our sky, there is a risk of debris falling from it. The alert system gave a warning in advance of this. China News Agency Xinhua informed regarding the launch of the satellite. It is also noteworthy that the warning is regarding to be held in Taiwan.
