Choi Jun-hee, the daughter of the late Choi Jin-sil, who reported her grandmother for a home invasion, filed an application for non-punishment to the police.

Seocho Police Station in Seoul said yesterday (13th) that it received a non-punishment application from Mr. Choi and is reviewing the contents.

Mr. Choi appeared on a YouTube channel prior to submitting the application for non-punishment and said, “I am sorry that I did not try to talk to my grandmother maturely and properly.” He also expressed his feelings.

At around 1 am on the 9th, Mr. Choi reported to 112 that his maternal grandmother, Mr. Jeong, had stayed at her house for two days without prior consent, for a home invasion.

It is known that the apartment was purchased by the late Choi Jin-sil during her lifetime, and after her death, it was inherited by Choi Jun-hee and her brother Choi Hwan-hee under joint names.

A police official said, “After hearing additional statements from the family, if it is determined that there is no charge, the case will be closed according to normal procedures.”
