CHRONICLE | The U-21 caresses the European of Georgia and Romania (8-0)

Spain jumped onto the grass of the Municipal Stadium of El Prado with the intention of adding three points to be closer to the goal, qualifying for the European Championships in Georgia and Romania.

From the first minute, the U-21 dominated Lithuania, imposing their quality and speed on the wings. Bryan Gil and Sergio Gómez were two real nightmares for the Lithuanian defenders.

In the 16th minute, the Real Betis international, Rodri, scored a great goal following a good play down the left wing. Spain did not lower their foot on the accelerator and continued to search insistently for the goal defended by Baliutavičius.

The last ten minutes of the first half were heart-stopping: Sergio Gómez in minute 35, Rodri in minute 37, Bryan Gil in minute 40 and Abel Ruiz in minute 43 scored for Spain.

During the second half, Luis de la Fuente’s boys gave Lithuania no chance and showed their superiority. Manuel Sánchez, Alex Baena and Beñat Turrientes were the authors of the last three goals.

Spain will be able to certify its pass to the European Championships in Georgia and Romania during the next match in Slovakia. The U-21 team will play the last game of this concentration on Tuesday 29 at 4:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time).
