End of the series Cian Uijtdebroeks ! The young Belgian rider will indeed ride for the Dutch team Visma Lease a Bike in 2024. Bora-Hansgrohe, the team in which he has been playing since 2022, confirmed in a press release the termination of Cian Uijtdebroeks’ contract. The UCI also approved the tripartite agreement.
“I was surprised to have been approached at such short notice (..) but everyone knows that I am open to discussions and not the type to get in the way of a transfer if the conditions are good and things are done according to the rules“, said Ralph Denkthe boss of Bora-Hansgrohe, in a press release from the German team.
“Is am happy that the matter is now closed. I hope that this affair remains an isolated incident for the entire cycling family: let’s respect contracts and rules, let’s be fair to everyone“.
