An eight-year-old child lost his life on Sunday around 12:30 p.m. in an accident involving a car and a tractor near Pessoux (Ciney), in the Ciney direction to Luxembourg, said Dinaphi area spokesperson Patrice Liétart .
Firefighters from the Dinaphi area of the Dinant and Ciney barracks went to the scene with two pumpers, an ambulance, a beaconing vehicle and an officer. The Bra-sur-Lienne helicopter also intervened on the spot. The circumstances of the accident are not yet known. The Namur public prosecutor’s office has been informed of the facts and must go to the site.
