In recent weeks, the CIUSSS MCQ has noted an increase in the presence of respiratory viruses.
Consequently, an increase in consultations in clinics and emergency rooms in the region has also been noticed.
Management reminded that “several viruses such as the flu, gastro, or COVID-19 can be treated at home.”
And, it launched its winter campaign in order to equip the population with the resources available to treat themselves at home as well as to direct them to the right service when a consultation occurs.
