Clarification to Karaki regarding the news of “raising the dialysis session tariff”!

The Public Relations Directorate of the National Social Security Fund issued a statement in which it affirmed that “after what was circulated by some media and some social media about false and erroneous interpretations of the news issued by the directorate under the title “Girk: Raising the tariff for a dialysis session to one million L.L.” , We must clarify the text of the news to the valued content.

The Fund’s General Manager, Muhammad Karaki, emphasized that the purpose of this tariff adjustment is an increase in the coverage provided by the guarantee and not an increase in the tariff, so that the sick content bears the differences, but on the contrary.

He said, “The aim of this increase is for the fund to bear the difference demanded by hospitals instead of insured citizens, and to keep dialysis patients free of charge.”

Karaki reiterated that the health coverage for dialysis patients is 100%, meaning that the guaranteed patient does not pay any amount, no matter how symbolic, but receives his sessions free of charge at the expense of the National Social Security Fund, which holds hospitals directly accountable.
