Two policemen were injured in stone pelting during a football fans’ rally in Olavakod, Palakkad. ASI Mohandas and CPO Sunilkumar of Town North Station were admitted to the district hospital. The clash occurred during a dispute over the termination of the rally. The police waved lathis to disperse the football fans. Forty people who participated in the rally were taken into custody
