Claude Lelouch marries at the age of 85

Director Claude Lelouch, 85, married novelist Valerie Perrin, 55, in Paris, according to the mayor of the eighteenth arrondissement of the French capital, marking the fourth marriage of the filmmaker, who won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Festival in 1966.

The couple, who reside in the Montmartre district of the French capital, organized their wedding ceremony in the presence of 200 guests, including French personalities from the world of art and culture such as Jean Dujardin, Cad Merad, Julien Claire, Richard Anconina and Leticia Halliday, in addition to Minister of Justice Eric Dupont Moretti.

Lelouch achieved international fame in 1966 with the movie “A Man and a Woman”, for which he won the Palme d’Or. He is considered one of the most famous French directors, with regarding 50 films to his credit.
