Claude “Mégo” Lemay admits he hasn’t really settled his accounts with Celine Dion

Seven years after his contract as Celine Dion’s chief musician was not renewed, Mégo finds that water has not really flowed under the bridges.

If he had been able to make peace with René Angélil before the latter’s death, he still has a bitter taste from a meeting he had with the Quebec diva in 2019.

“It was a little bit of a tape. It was a little bit a show that she made me worse … uh … it was not fun”, deplores the one who worked with the star for 28 years. (To be seen in the video extract ABOVE)

Celine’s lack of authenticity during this meeting probably disappointed him.

And the worst is that the show he had attended just before had hardly impressed him.

“I can’t say that I liked the show», Mego said.

But since the theme of Thursday’s show was forgiveness, the musician apparently forgave Celine.

During his interview with Gildor Roy, Claude Lemay also broached the very interesting subjects of his friendship with René Angélil and the moment when he was fired.

He still doesn’t understand why it happened.
