climate change; African countries have not received the amount declared by rich countries

Giza: African countries have complained that they have not yet received the amount promised to poor countries to overcome the impacts of climate change. This demand was raised in a meeting held by the senior leaders of African countries in Giza, Egypt to discuss the climate crisis.

The promise was to give 10,000 crore dollars by 2020 to countries that are victims of the industrial growth of rich countries. At the 2009 meeting in Copenhagen, the money was promised to overcome the impacts of the climate crisis. But the representative of Egypt stated that no one was willing to pay even half of this amount.
