LOS ANGELES (AP) — Paul George scored 25 points and the Los Angeles Clippers rallied to beat Denver 111-102 on Wednesday to end their eight-game losing streak to the defending champion Nuggets.

Denver beat Los Angeles 113-104 last week with 35 points from former Clippers player Reggie Jackson, who took advantage of the absences of Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon. The starting trio returned for the rematch.

Murray had 23 points, Jokic had a triple-double of 22 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. Michael Porter Jr. contributed 18 points and nine rebounds, hitting 7 of 8 field goals and making four triples.

It was Denver’s first loss to the Clippers since January 11, 2022. The Nuggets are 5-8 away from home following blowing a 15-point lead in the first quarter.

The Clippers were up by one when James Harden and Kawhi Leonard scored 11 straight points to go up 103-97. Ivica Zubac blocked Jokic, who had a slump in the fourth quarter.
