Real Madrid scored the Brazilian Vinicius Junior (42), the Uruguayan Federico Valverde (47), the Brazilian Rodrigo (90 + 2) and Sergio Aribas (90 + 8), while the Tunisian Ali Maaloul scored the only Al-Ahly goal (65 from a penalty kick).
The Spanish team missed goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, striker Karim Benzema, and the defense trio Eder Militao, Ferlan Mendy, and Lucas Vazquez, but Courtois, Benzema, and Militao may be able to play after Real Madrid qualified for the final, next Saturday.
The Saudi Hilal, led by its brilliant star, Salem Al-Dossary, and the Argentine, Luciano Vietto, recorded his name in the history of the competition, by defeating the numerically deficient Libertadores Cup champion 3-2 in the semi-finals, to meet in the final of Saturday, Real Madrid, the Spanish European champion.
