Maringues. CMR organized its first multi-dance ball. The CMR association (Convivialité en milieu rural), which has been offering initiations and dance lessons for ten years, organized its first multi-dance ball on Sunday followingnoon in the Salle d’Honneur.
On the program, many dances (rock, tango, kizomba, paso-doble, chacha, madison, salsa, waltz, bachata, new line, west coast, swing) which can be danced alone, in pairs or in groups.
A hundred dancers from CMR and neighboring dance clubs led this premiere under the leadership of Mike Liadouze, a graduate dance teacher at CMR. “These very convivial interclub exchanges are great moments of sharing”, underlined Martine Pignol, president of CMR who gives her dance lessons on Wednesdays, in the Salle d’Honneur, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. at 9:30 p.m.
