The Ministry of Health and Population was keen to provide a number of advices to citizens, in conjunction with the weather fluctuations the country is witnessing.
The ministry said in an awareness circular, on Wednesday: “Protect yourself during low temperatures by wearing a cover for the head and ears, preferably made of heavy wool or other warm fabrics that protect from wind and water, to prevent body heat from leaking from the head, face and neck, and to prevent injuries to the skin of the head.” “.
The weather during the next 48 hours is witnessing a wave of weather fluctuations that affect all parts of the republic, in conjunction with the return of the temperature drop, to prevail in winter weather and some areas are affected by rain, especially the governorates of Alexandria, Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh, according to the Meteorological Authority.
And the Meteorological Authority announced that there is a cloud cover of rainy thunderstorms covering the sky of Alexandria. It is accompanied by moderate intensity rains, sometimes accompanied by hail.
And the General Authority of Meteorology confirmed that it is expected to affect areas of northern Lower Egypt (Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh) with the passage of time, and extend inland with time to reach Cairo in the evening.
