European stock markets once again suffered the repercussions of new central bank announcements on Friday in their fight against inflation and the uncertain economic outlook.
The indices ended clearly in the red in Paris (-1.08%) and London (-1.27%). The Frankfurt market held up a little better (-0.67%), the decline in private sector activity having been less severe than expected by analysts, but over the week, the German Dax index posted a drop of more than 3%, similar to that of the CAC 40.
