The Colombian Air Force arrived in the village of Pantanillo in San Pedro de los Milagros, Antioquia, together with the Official Professionals of the Reserve, the Antioquia Governor’s Office and the municipal Mayor’s Office, to carry out the Development Support Day, which is part of the campaign “United” and that benefited more than 285 people in this rural area.
In the Rural Education Center “El Pantanillo”, the inhabitants of this town and nearby villages met to access general medicine, dentistry, geriatrics, vaccination, recreational activities, educational talks and gift delivery services, generating In this way, spaces for community development, mental health and well-being to the communities.
Likewise, during the activity, a Black hawk helicopter from the Air Combat Command No.5 carried out different flights over the urban and rural area of the municipality of San Pedro de los Milagros, carrying out awareness-raising operations with powerful loudspeaker equipment with prevention messages against forced recruitment and inviting the population to denounce acts that disturb the tranquility of the population.
Its Air Force leads and continuously participates in this type of activities, ratifying the commitment to bring health and well-being to the most vulnerable populations in the department and strengthening alliances with the different territorial entities, contributing significantly to the development and progress of the regions.
