Colombian football is in mourning. The Colombian Football Federation announced on Tuesday evening the sudden death of Andrés Balanta, a young 22-year-old defensive midfielder, international hopeful and passed by all the selections of young people in the country. Champion with Deportivo Cali last season, Balanta had been on loan to Atlético Tucuman (Argentina) since this summer. He collapsed during a training session on Tuesday, probably struck by a heart attack.
