Color transformation at ‘Keraliyam’ exhibition board after Chief Minister’s visit

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM ∙ After Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan came and went, the color of the letters on the big board at the ‘Keraliyam’ stage changed from black to red. The theme board of the exhibition ‘Nammalegende Samamsai’ at the College of Fine Arts changed color in the night. The 30 feet long and 12 feet wide board was originally made with black letters on a white background. The Chief Minister visited this venue at 5 pm on Thursday. Then the color of the letters was changed to red.

The staff of the college who arrived yesterday morning were the first to notice the discolouration. The reply was that ‘the instructions from above have been changed’. Titled ‘Contextual Cosmologies’, the exhibition features paintings and other art installations. Under the leadership of Bose Krishnamachari, Anushka Rajendran, Premjit Achari and SN Sujith have curated the works of 43 internationally renowned artists.
