OPELIKA, Ala. — Authorities have announced the arrest of a Columbus man on multiple child-pornography offenses following a police investigation in opelika.

The Opelika Police Department opened the probe on December 22 after receiving a report that 33-year-old Don Anthony LeBoeuf was sending inappropriate text messages to someone believed to be a juvenile.

On January 5, LeBoeuf traveled to Opelika and was taken into custody on several warrants, including electronic solicitation of a child and ten counts of possession of child pornography.

He was booked into the Lee County Jail while the investigation continues.
