We’ll see them everywhere this summer: the basket bag. The braided IT-PIECE is available in different shapes. The possibility of combining them in very different ways is as different as the bags. From casual to chic, anything is possible.

Why is the basket bag so popular?

It conveys a light touch of lightness and the feeling of beach, sun and vacation – simply pure summer feeling! They are often designed in such a way that we have enough space to store everything that is important for the day. From sunglasses to the Ipad, there is space for everything. The basket bags go wonderfully with our fragrant, airy summer looks. Whether dress, tunic, jeans or pajama look, every outfit gets a certain lightness.

STYLING IDEA No. 1 – Extravagant two-piece suit with light-colored sandals

The casual pajama look with the summery sandals is currently one of my favorite looks. Since the extravagant outfit already draws everyone’s attention, I choose the matching light-colored basket bag for the light-colored shoes. My accessories are a large chain and large sunglasses. The color of the basket bag matches my shoes and the background color of my two-piece suit perfectly.

STYLING IDEA #2 – White dress with wedges

For me, the white summer dress with wedges and basket bag is a summer outfit that is suitable for the next family celebration, as well as for a garden party, for meeting friends, for brunch or for a stroll through the city. This combination with the matching wedges puts you in a good mood and is incredibly popular. I wear the matching summer hat with the straw bag. So the bast idea is repeated in hats, bags and shoes. These repetitions of materials create harmony in an outfit.

STYLING IDEA #3 – Green two-piece suit with large basket bag

If the outfit is a bit fancier, like my two-piece suit in green, I grab the larger basket bag. The flat sling-back pumps in green with rhinestones turn the look into an evening outfit in summer. The casual two-piece suit is made of light material and is slightly transparent on the arms and legs. The look is enhanced with real gold jewelry.

What else can you combine a basket bag with?

They look great with all looks in white. Of course, they look harmonious in color with all shades of beige. They are extremely popular as accessories for summery tunics and long summer dresses.

A denim look with a large basket bag becomes the hip outfit of the day just as well. Linen dresses and basket bags also make a good pair.
