Comedian Bedu Tohar experiencing bankruptcy. This happened after he was in a lot of debt.
Bedu admits that he is currently working very hard to pay off the existing installment debt. Because his career in the Indonesian entertainment industry is fading.
When met at the Trans TV Building, Jalan Captain P Tendean, South Jakarta, Wednesday (11/10/2023), the film star Mumun even showed the ATM balance to the media crew.
“The smallest at the moment, I don’t have a problem (telling the public) is IDR 3,800,” said Bedu while showing the e-wallet on his cellphone.
“This is the other one (e-banking) IDR 50 thousand. There are installments that I paid off IDR 360 thousand, credit card IDR 4 million,” explained Bedu again while showing his e-banking account.
Having a lot of debt, Bedu admitted that he had sold two cars for daily needs. He even wants to sell his house for IDR 5.5 billion.
During the interview session, Bedu also finally explained the debt that had forced him to continue to work hard to earn money.
“Yes, that was an installment. So, open a kitchen, that’s okay. Let it be a lesson. This can’t be avoided, because it’s already taken. There’s an apartment, a car, children’s school, monthly money, paying household members, from two drivers, to one, assistant “There’s only one left. For a long time there was no assistant,” explained Bedu.
At that time, Bedu also managed to hold back tears. He felt that he was already in a very difficult time.
Bedu even confirmed that he had borrowed Rp. 5 million from Raffi Ahmad. He also showed evidence of his messages with the famous presenter.
“Yes, I wanted to return the money, but he didn’t want to. I asked for his account number, he said there was no need to return it. Raffi is a really good person,” said Bedu.
