Comesaña hopes to recover five of his ‘soldiers’ this week

The wins by the minimum (1-0) once morest Alianza Petrolera and Cali, in the last two days, have revived a team that seemed to be doomed to elimination and that today is back in the fight for qualifying positions in the league.

In the Cup, the rojiblancos are just one step away from the title, following beating Millonarios 1-0 in the first leg of the final. The return will be on November 2, at the El Campín stadium in Bogotá.

That is the summary of the last eight days, where those led by Comesaña have taken a new breath, winning their matches by the minimum, without conceding goals, a real improvement.

The objectives in this long week are: first, to recover the team, following a high load of competition; second, fine-tune physical, soccer and tactical details, which they had not been able to do since Julio Comesaña arrived on the technical bench; and third, recover the players who are ‘between cottons’: Fredy Hinestroza, Omar Albornoz, John Fredy Pajoy, Iván Rossi and Nilson Castrillón.
