Good morning! The Armenian genocide is commemorated in Amsterdam today. And in Rotterdam is the cup final between Feyenoord and NEC.

What can you expect today?
- The annual commemoration of the Armenian genocide takes place in Amsterdam. The Ambassador of Armenia, Mayor Halsema and Members of Parliament Ceder and Van der Plas will give speeches.
- The Chinese Grand Prix starts at 9 a.m. in Shanghai. The race, where Max Verstappen starts from pole position, can be followed via a live blog on NOS.nl. A summary can be seen on NPO 1 from 7 p.m.
- In Belgium the cycling race is Liège-Bastogne-Liège. The race, both men’s and women’s, can be followed live on NPO 1 from 1:15 PM.

What did you miss?
Two Navy helicopters have crashed in Japan, possibly after colliding. At least one passenger was killed, the seven others are still being sought.
Japan’s Defense Ministry said it appears the helicopters crashed during a nighttime training exercise near the volcanic Izu Islands in the Pacific Ocean.

Yesterday a sinkhole appeared in the middle of a road in Venlo. A motorist was unable to swerve in time and drove into the sinkhole. The three occupants were not injured.
“You usually see it on the news, but you think you don’t experience it yourself,” said the owner, who had owned the car for less than a day.
