Commerzbank lowered its gold price forecast for the end of 2022 to $1,800 an ounce, expecting gold to regain much of its luster from the beginning of next year onwards.
Commerzbank also expected that the price of gold in 2023 would reach $1,900 an ounce, compared to its previous forecast of $2,000.
Commerzbank lowered its forecast for the silver price to $20.50 an ounce at the end of the year from $24, and to $25 at the end of 2023 from $27.
