How to use your Mac trackpad with the zoom feature (Accessibility)

If you have a computer with a trackpad, you can enable a setting where you can tap on it to zoom in or out on whatever you’re currently viewing on the screen.

Open System Settings on your Mac, go to “Accessibility” in the left sidebar, then “Zoom.” Then, turn on the switch next to “Use trackpad gesture to zoom.”

Then, just follow these steps to use the function with the trackpad:

  • Double-tap with three fingers to toggle between zooming in and out;
  • Double-tap with three fingers and drag to zoom in/out gradually.
