At the age of 60, the famous music critic and composer Pyotr Pospelov passed away. The death of a ballet specialist was confirmed by his son Vasily. About it informs TASS.
Pospelov Jr. also voiced the cause of death of the critic.
“Dad passed away on August 27 at approximately 4:00 pm. The diagnosis was made: perforation of a stomach ulcer, ”he confirmed.
Petr Pospelov collaborated with the cultural departments of many leading Russian publications. Ballet was his great passion. In 2023, the composer received the Golden Mask Award for writing music for the ballet Katarina, or the Robber’s Daughter.
