Extremely anticipated by most PlayStation console owners, God of War Ragnarok was released at the end of last year to become yet another absolute success for the brand. Living up to the hype, the title got an excellent reception and accumulated several achievements in the awards season.
Now, in a God of War Ragnarok panel held during PAX East 2023, Ben Prendergast, the actor who plays Tyr in the Santa Monica game, revealed that his character will appear again in the game.
Actor assures that Tyr will appear again in God of War
During the PAX East 2023 panel hosted by Santa Monica, Ben Prendergast made a startling claim as he assured that gamers will see Tyr again in Sony’s franchise. “It wasn’t the last you saw of Tyr,” said Prendergast.
The actor’s statement took players by surprise due to the events of God of War Ragnarok that involved the character, including a big moment in the game’s plot. Now, a wide range of possibilities opens up for fans.
It seems that theorizing about a new game is still early days, and it is worth remembering that the likely next title in the franchise should come out of Norse mythology, however, there is room for a possible Ragnarok DLC. In addition, it is also worth remembering that a God of War series has already been confirmed by Amazon, so the actor could be indicating his participation in the production.
