Dharamshala: Congress-BJP leaders forget the political feud and enjoy the India-New Zealand cricket match together. Union Minister Anurag Thakur, BJP National President JP Nadda, former minister Harsh Vardhan, Congress leader and Himachal Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Jai Ram Thakur watched the match live.
The leaders enjoyed the match at the VVIP stand in Dharamshala. Sukhwinder Sukhu’s seat was between Anurag Thakur and JP Nadda. BCCI Secretary Jai Shah and IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal were also present.
After the match, Sukhu said that the World Cup matches are proof of how passionately people enjoy cricket. He also praised the beautiful surroundings of the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium.
In the match, India defeated New Zealand by four wickets to record their fifth win in the World Cup. Mohammed Shami, who took five wickets for India, was the star of the game.
