The joint commissions for Sustainable Rural Development, and Health and Sports of the State Congress, announced that this Wednesday, November 29, the virtual conference “Milpa, healthy and culturally relevant local food” will be held, which will be given by Jose Alejandro Almaguer Gonzaleznational director of Traditional Medicine and Intercultural Development of the Health Secretary federal.
The foregoing was announced at a press conference by the presidents of the Sustainable Rural Development commissions, Alfredo Alvarez Ramirezand Health and Sport, Andrea Naranjo Alcaraz.
The Morena legislator pointed out that this event will take place within the framework of the world soil daywhich is commemorated on December 5.
The virtual conference will be held this Wednesday sharp at 7 p.m. and can be followed through the web of Congress of the State of Colima.
World Soil Day aims to raise awareness regarding the importance of soils for food production, a nutrition and some optimal dietsat the same time that sustainable management is claimed to guarantee the health of our soils.
