The organization of the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024 unveiled its new image and logo for the edition to be held in the United States starting next summer.

The graphic renewal of the Copa América boasts the colors of the host country –red, white and blue– characteristic of the American patriotic symbols and the values of the competition.

“We are very excited about the new beginning of the oldest national team tournament in the world, where the best players, coaches and fans will be. A new edition awaits us that will mark history and make the hearts of the entire continent vibrate”, stated the President of CONMEBOL, Alejandro Domínguez.

The 2024 Copa América will feature the 10 CONMEBOL teams, but for next year’s edition it will feature six guests from Concacaf. The tournament will be run by both confederations.

The six invited teams will seek their ticket through the 2013-24 Concacaf Nations League, whose Group Phase and Quarterfinals will take place later this year in September, October and November.

The four winners of the Quarterfinals will automatically advance to the Gold Cup, while the four losers will fight for two tickets in a playoff format.

The 2024 Copa América will be the 48th edition that will have 16 participating teams for the second time in its history, the same number as in the 2016 edition also organized in the United States.
