Construction industry will have new opportunities in 2024

A company specialized in data intelligence is delivering new advantages to the commercial sector of the construction industries with the use of its tool, with the aim of reinforcing productivity and increasing sales throughout this first half of 2024, even with the slowdown that occurred at the end of last year in the Brazilian construction market.

Last year (2023), the Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry (CBIC) carried out a survey in which it addressed a drop of 0.5% at the end of 2023 and a recession in the growth projection for 2024, closing the growth forecast for 2024 at 1.3%.

In relation to the research carried out by CBIC, despite the drop in the projection at the end of 2023, the CEO of Hoff Analytics, Janaine Nascimento, believes that the market will have great business opportunities and explains why: “Even with the reduction in growth projections , as announced, companies that are part of this market may have more chances for growth. This will be due to the ease in the process of searching for new contacts, companies, works and other information,” she says.

Likewise, still in 2023, the Brazilian Association of the Construction Materials Industry (ABRAMAT) revised downwards the sector’s sales projection, with a drop of 2.3%a topic that was also answered by Janaine: “There was a reduction in the growth projection, but we need to remember that industries that decide to invest in technological tools for their commercial sectors will have more opportunities, as they will be one step ahead of the market”, she says she.

The commercial sector specialist, Janaina Almeida, who has more than 10 years of experience in sales, was in contact with some construction industries throughout 2023 and noticed one of the market’s main concerns: “The industry wants to guarantee the largest share available market and this is only possible with access to quality information and effective market reading, we realize that we can generate valuable opportunities and guarantee a competitive advantage in the segment”, he states.

Asked about how data intelligence can contribute to the construction sector in 2024, the CEO of Hoff Analytics states that having close monitoring of the market can be a differentiator, and can be inserted into commercial, marketing processes and even construction of new products to assist in sales.

Finally, in her conclusion, the CEO believes that 2024 will be a year of opportunities for industries and their commercial sectors, to maintain an accelerated pace of contract closings, with technology being the main ally in decisions: “I see that technology can increasingly be incorporated into companies’ management and commercial processes,” he added.
