Full-time job to be filled within the Consulate General of France.
Start of contract: January 2, 2024
Duration of the contract: Fixed-term local law contract of one year, renewable. Possibility of a permanent contract subsequently.
Main missions :
Under the supervision of the Head of the Visa Department, the Deputy Consul and the Consul General:
- Ensure the pre-examination of visa application files in compliance with current regulations
- Manage visa service archives
- Ensure follow-up of the generic service box and email response to users
- Reception and receipt of visa applications on diplomatic and service passports.
Expected skills:
- Rigor and discretion are imperative given the handling of personal data
- Knowledge of the IT environment: Word, Excel, and Internet
- Organizational, planning and priority management skills
- Very good level of oral and written expression in French
- Ability to work in a team and report to superiors
Professional experience :
- Higher studies, Baccalaureate
- Professional experience in administrative or legal fields desirable
Salary level and hours:
- Salary framework of the French Embassy: Level 6.
- Declared to the CNPS and CMU, 13th month, leave of 30 calendar days per year and supplementary health insurance at 80% including for beneficiaries.
- Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
