Consumer alert: Leclerc recalls cakes marketed throughout France

The Leclerc brand is recalling pound cake and marbled bars sold throughout France due to a risk of the presence of metallic foreign bodies in the products.

The large-scale retailer warns customers who have purchased 250g, 500g and 800g pound cakes and 500g marbled bars from the P’tit deli brand, sold between June 17, 2022 and this Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

Leclerc informs of the possible presence of metallic foreign bodies in the products.

The lot numbers are as follows:

– 3564700487464: Date of minimum durability between 08/15/2022 and 09/12/2022

– 3564700019481: Date of minimum durability between 08/15/2022 and 09/12/2022

– 3564700019474: Date of minimum durability between 08/15/2022 and 09/12/2022

– 3564700793770: Date of minimum durability between 08/15/2022 and 09/12/2022

The brand that gave the alert for the recall of this product on Wednesday asks not to consume it and to bring it back to the point of sale for a refund.
