Tottenham Hotspur have announced on their official website that Antonio Conte has stepped down as manager.
“Antonio Conte left the club by mutual consent. We thank Antonio for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future.”
Christian Stellini has been appointed acting head coach until the end of the season. Ryan Mason will be his assistant.
Previously it was reported that the Italian could leave the English club after criticism of the team’s players. Conte has been in charge of Tottenham since November 2021.
Tottenham are 4th in the Premier League with 49 points.
