The accused was sentenced to two years imprisonment. “Of these, 18 months were conditionally suspended, the probationary period is three years. The remaining six months were converted into an unconditional fine of 360 daily rates of 30 euros each – a total of 10,800 euros,” reveals Andreas Stutter, spokesman for the Innsbruck Regional Court. No appeal was received within the three-day period. “This means that the judgment is final. One can speak of a mild penalty here,” emphasizes the defender.
