- The S&P index rose by regarding 0.15% to settle at the level of 3651 points.
- The Dow Jones Index rose by 53 points, or 0.18%, and scored regarding 29,183 points.
The futures contracts of US stock indices recorded a noticeable decline ahead of the opening of trading on Tuesday, in light of the continuing concerns regarding the tightening of monetary policy at a very strong pace during the coming period, and the strong rise in the yield on bonds, which weakened the demand for US stocks.
During the trading before the American session, the futures contracts for the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased by 0.01% and recorded regarding 29,199 points. Meanwhile, the futures contracts for the S&P 500 index decreased by 0.23% and recorded regarding 3652 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index also decreased by 0.64% and scored regarding 11,261 points.
