Surat: Husband burnt his wife to death following an argument over her alleged viewing of an obscene video. The incident took place last Monday in Katargam, Surat, Gujarat. Kajal (30), who was set on fire by her husband, succumbed to death on Tuesday. On Sunday night, the police found out that there was a fight between the couple over watching a porn video.
Their dispute continued on Monday. An enraged Kishore Patel (33) poured petrol on his wife’s body and set her on fire. He was later arrested. In her obituary, Kajal had said that her husband saw the obscene video on Sunday night and requested her to stop it.

Kajal suffered 40% burns and succumbed to lung infection. Kishore is a native of Mumbai. The two met while working at a diamond unit, fell in love and got married.
