The controversy of the week was lived in Barranquilla. Hours before Junior risks his life and tries by all means to enter home runs, after a hard setback against Once Caldas as a visitorseveral players went on a spree and violated the rules of conduct that were held internally.

This had serious consequences: one of them, the dismissal of Luis Sandoval, the attacker whose contract was terminated; on the other hand, four players were punished and will not have activity: Walmer Pacheco, José Ortiz, César Haydar and Omar Albornoz.

And nothing happened?

It turns out that the four players were approached by the media. The one who spoke the most was César Haydar, through a dialogue with El Ámbito. The defender affirmed that absolutely nothing had happened and that the whole truth would soon be known.

“Even though I did nothing, I have to kneel down and apologize”said Haydar, who had made statements together with his colleagues involved in the alleged ‘party’.

For their part, the other three players came out and did not really want to give any statement. The common denominator was the following: They were all adamant that “absolutely nothing happened.”

Despite the fact that they were punished, they still belong to the institution and to the team led by Hernán Darío ‘el Bolillo’ Gómez, who stated that “he had also muddy it” previously and “felt pain and sadness” for the players involved.

For now, the ‘Sharks’ will have to stick their chests out to the breeze to play a final against Deportivo Pereira, as a local. Said match will be played at the “Metro” in Barranquilla this Saturday, May 13, starting at 8:30 pm (local time).
