It was the daily Het Laatste Nieuws which revealed it on Monday: Flore Pensaert, 25, would offer privileged access to photos of her naked in exchange for votes for her in the Miss Belgium contest. A process which is obviously prohibited by the competition which, if it does indeed require that the candidates report as many votes as possible by SMS, refuses naked photos.

Informed of the affair, Darline Devos, the president of the Miss Belgium committee, planned to ask her candidate to remove these photos and to discuss with her the rest of the events. “I actually sent her an email,” explains the president, “but she hasn’t replied to me yet. I know she is overseas. Maybe she hasn’t seen my email yet. I myself will probably take a few days off but after that, we will have to discuss it together, ”she adds.

Since then, the Miss has posted an explanatory message on Facebook. “Those who know me know that I am an artistic (naked) model. It is and will remain artistic, my work is never something I will put in the battle for Miss Belgium. I’m proud of all the art I make and anyone who wants to follow my work can do so on Instagram,” she wrote.

Even if the president recognizes that the photos accessible on the networks of the Miss are artistic and not vulgar, she recalls that, in its rules, the competition prohibits any Miss from sharing photos of her naked, on social networks.
