Monday April 24, 2023, Ahmed Sylla, guest on the Cauet set, expressed his disagreement with the comedian Blanche Gardin who had, the previous week, challenged Amazon about the salary differences of artists and the gains pocketed by associations during the filming of the show LOL: who laughs, comes out! This Wednesday, April 26, he returns to his words.
“LOL: who laughs, comes out!” is a comedy show, produced by Amazon Video. The pitch: a dozen artists, comedians or comedians find themselves locked in a room and must eliminate their competitors by making them laugh, without cracking themselves.
The winner’s reward? €50,000, which will be paid to the association that the artist represents, and €5,000 for the other candidates.
However, almost a week ago, the famous French humorist Blanche Gardin used her Facebook account to write to Amazon and criticize the salaries offered to artists, sometimes reaching 200,000 €.
“She is better than us”
Ahmed Sylla, guest on the set of “C Cauet”, found himself disappointed to see that a “sister”, as he recalls, allows herself to put herself forward by creating this controversy. On NRJ, he also added: “I did not find it cool on his part”. For him, the words she makes amount to saying that she “is a little better than[‘eux]”.
He adds that she could have accepted to participate and sent all of her salary to her association, or refused without talking about it. Knowing the production, he implies that Blanche Gardin would have “inflated” the sums collected…
He also maintains that the salaries are not that exorbitant, even if he admits to having received “a very good ticket” during his participation in season 2.

This Wednesday, April 26, Sylla was invited to Europe 1, where he returns to the comments he made two days earlier. He was “slapped on the fingers”, as he says, while maintaining his statements on the statements of Blanche Gardin which, according to him, only served to create controversy.
He also criticizes the “click whores” articles, as he calls them, on this story: “Ahmed Sylla declares war on Blanche Gardin”, and claims to have “no animosity” towards Blanche Gardin. “She’s an incredible comedian, a terrific artist.”
