Francisco Santos referred to the president’s statements, as he assured that “Police lieutenant colonel Oscar Dávila, attached to the security of the Presidency of the Republic, has died by suicide.”
In turn, he added that he feels calm because “fortunately he is investigating the CTI.” On the other hand, Francisco Santos questioned the details of the colonel’s death, since he considers that the bullet wounds are not clear: “Was it one or two shots?”

Miguel Ángel del Río was referring to Mancuso’s recent statements before the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP), where he reaffirmed that former Vice President Francisco Santos requested that a bloc be created in Bogotá to counteract the guerrillas.
“Francisco Santos came representing the Colombian oligarchy, because in the capital they were concerned about the arrival of the FARC near Bogotá, they asked us to create a bloc that even suggested the name of the Capital Bloc,” said the former paramilitary chief.
