Cooler Master HAF II 500 PC Case: Launch Date, Price, and Specs

Cooler Master is launching the HAF II 500 chassis in September 2026, priced at approximately €184.99. The case distinguishes itself with three massive 40mm-thick fans—two 220mm front intakes and one 180mm rear exhaust—designed to maximize airflow and thermal headroom for high-TDP components in a high-airflow (HAF) architecture.

This isn’t another vaporware concept from a trade show floor. After the initial buzz at Computex 2026, the HAF II 500 is transitioning from a prototype to a retail product.

The Brutal Math of the Mighty40 Array

The HAF II 500 is a behemoth, measuring 54.8 cm in height, 55.7 cm in depth, and 26.2 cm in width. That extra width isn’t for aesthetics; it’s a structural necessity to house the Mighty40 F220 fans. These aren’t your standard case fans. Each 220mm unit weighs 500g and pushes 203.8 CFM at a modest 1050 RPM.

When you pair two of these at the front, you’re moving over 400 CFM of air before it even hits your RAM.

The rear is handled by a Mighty40 V180. While smaller at 180mm, it’s still 40mm thick and weighs 425g. It spins faster, hitting 1370 RPM to move 161.5 CFM of hot air out of the system.

It’s a heavy setup. Between the three fans alone, you’re adding nearly 1.5kg of rotating mass to the frame.

  • Front Intake: 2x Mighty40 F220 (220mm x 40mm), 203.8 CFM @ 1050 RPM.
  • Rear Exhaust: 1x Mighty40 V180 (180mm x 40mm), 161.5 CFM @ 1370 RPM.
  • Total Fan Weight: ~1.425 kg.
  • MSRP: ~€184.99.
