With the recent increase in infections, everyone in Egypt is wondering about the symptoms of corona in the sixth wave, and are they different from previous waves?
Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Health and Preventive Affairs, confirmed that we have started the sixth wave of Corona virus infections, and this wave means an increase in the number of cases, explaining that the wave is through an upward curve and then the cases begin to decrease.
Taj El-Din indicated, during a telephone interview on the “Cairo Talk” program, with the journalist Khairy Ramadan, on Al-Qahirah and Al-Nas channel, that the infection rate a month and a half ago was stable and the number of cases was very few, explaining that this current wave is expected to be present in many from countries of the world.
Magdy Badran, a member of the Egyptian Society of Allergy and Immunology, says that the symptoms of the sixth wave of Corona are not very different from the symptoms that existed with the previous waves of Covid-19.
He added, in exclusive statements to Masrawy, that the symptoms of the sixth wave of Corona are less severe and fierce than its predecessors, and are similar to the symptoms of a cold.
The immunologist revealed the symptoms as follows:
– Sore throat
– runny nose
– cold
– cough
– sneezing
– Runny nose.
– High temperature
Headache.

Badran put several tips to protect ourselves from Corona in the sixth wave, as follows:
– Adhere to the full precautionary measures and do not tolerate them
– wear masks
The necessity of adhering to home isolation in case of injury, to prevent the spread of infection between families and to preserve their safety.
– Follow up on the health status of the elderly and those with chronic diseases, and consult their personal doctor to prescribe the right medicines when it is confirmed that they are infected with Corona.
