Malayalam movies that have recently hit the theaters are now OTT. Films like Corona Papers, Pookalam, Entata Saji, and Fireworks are getting ready for OTT release. Directed by Priyadarshan, ‘Corona Papers’ starring Shane Nigam and Shine Tom Chacko hit the theaters on April 6.
It is a thriller film. Priyadarshan wrote the screenplay for Sriganesh’s story. Tamil actress Gayatri Shankar is the heroine of the film. Siddique, Hanna Regi Kosi, Sandhya Shetty, P.P. Kunhikrishnan, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Jean Paul Lal, Sri Dhanya, Vijilesh, Maneka Suresh Kumar, Biju Pappan, Srikanth Murali and Nandu Phudhuwal are other important actors of the film. Disney Plus Hot Star has acquired the OTT streaming rights of the film.
‘Pookalam’ is the film that hit the theaters as an Easter release. The film is directed by Ganesh Raj with Vijayaraghavan, KPAC Leela, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Srinivasan and Suhasini in lead roles. Johnny Antony, Arun Kurien, Anu Antony, Roshan Mathew, Abu Salim, Sarath Sabha, Arun Ajith Kumar, Aristo Suresh, Amal Raj, Kamal Raj, Radha Gomathi, Ganga Meera, Kavya Das, Navya Das are the other prominent stars of the film. Disney Plus Hotstar has acquired the OTT streaming rights of the film.
Kunchacko Boban and Jayasuriya in the lead roles ‘Entada Saji’ was also an Easter release. Niveda Thomas is the heroine. The film is written and directed by debutant Godfi Xavier. The film is produced by Listyn Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames and Amazon Prime Video has acquired the streaming rights of the film.
‘Vedikattu’ is the directorial debut of Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan. Produced by Gokulam Gopalan, NM Badusha and Shinoy Mathew under the banners of Badusha Cinemas and Sri Gokulam Movies, the film hit the theaters on February 03. Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George have written the script of the film. Zee 5 has acquired the streaming rights of the film.
